Hey, I'm Cate!

I’m Caterina, founder of SWAPR - Love It Again, a second-hand fashion startup with a mission: to radically transform how we shop, consume, and value clothing.

My academic background is in International Security, with a specialization in Far-Right Extremism and Intelligence Analysis, a field I was deeply passionate about and had the opportunity to work in. Understanding global threats, patterns, and ideologies taught me how to detect early signals of change and take action with precision.

But then something shifted. I started asking new questions, not just about geopolitics, but about the systems we personally take part in every day. Fast fashion emerged as a silent, global disruptor. And just like that, my passion for structural change found a new front line.

That’s how SWAPR was born: from a mix of urgency, creativity, and an unapologetic belief that small shifts in behavior can lead to massive systemic impact.

Today, I’ve traded intelligence reports for product drops, policy memos for community-building, but my mission hasn’t changed: I’m here to challenge harmful systems, only now, through circular fashion, consumer awareness, and radical sustainability.

This is not a side project. This is my new path!
